If you have bought your item via TSpay, you are guaranteed your money back, if your purchase doesn’t match its description.
Up to 30 days after receiving the item, you can contact your seller via our Solution Centre in order to find a resolution. For the most part, the issue is merely due to a misunderstanding, and the majority of sellers will always try to find a solution if you provide them with evidence for your complaint.
If you are unable to reach a resolution, you can escalate the case to Trendsales so our Support Team can review the case, and agree on a settlement. If your complaint is valid, we will help you return the item to the seller, and then refund you the total purchase price.
What are the rules, when an item doesn’t match its description?
If the item has a significant defect, buyers have a right to receive a proportional discount on the purchase price or to return the item in order to get a full refund. Trendsales cannot give a proportional discount and can therefore only decide, if the item can be returned.
It will be considered a significant defect, if the condition or usability of the item is poorer, than described on the listing. It will also be considered a defect, if a seller has given false or misleading information about the item.
If a case is settled in your favor, and you have bought the item via TSpay, our Support Team will refund you on your sellers’ behalf. If you have not bought the item via TSpay, Trendsales will not cover your losses, but will help you contact a lawyer or the police, if you wish to take the issue further. In these cases, Trendsales will still hold the sellers accountable and close their Accounts, until you have received a full refund.
